Diablo 3 release date? - Estimated 2009 early to mid year
This is a burning question on everyone's mind, but it's safe to say that Blizzard will not release Diablo 3 until StarCraft 2 is out (tentatively scheduled for December 2008) . The simple reason is that they don't want two of their own products to compete against each other for sales. It also allows them to test out the new Battle.net with StarCraft II and clean out the bugs before having Diablo 3 go at it. Hopefully this will mean players will get a smoother online multiplayer experience with Diablo 3.
Where to Download Diablo 3 demo?
Everyone is dying to have a go at a playable Diablo 3 demo, but Blizzard has so far released only videos of gameplay demonstrations. There has been rumors floating around that Blizzard will announce a Diablo 3 Beta, perhaps later this year (2008). Stay tuned for updates and where to sign up if a Diablo 3 beta test is announced.

After 8 years of waiting, Blizzard has finally announced the next highly anticipated installment in the Diablo series. Blizzard has not released a playable Diablo 3 demo as of yet since the game is currently still in development. However, Blizzard has stated that the game engine and mechanics are complete, all that is left is to add additional content and tweaking and balancing. Blizzard has not ruled out that a Diablo beta may be available over Battle.net

- Multiplayer gaming with Blizzard's Battle.net service (players will be able to drop in and out of co-operative play)

- Diablo III will be the first game in the series to use 3D rendering, but will still have an isometric, overhead view.
