 Ghouls are the first
enemies the Barbarian fights during the Diablo 3 demo video. Although
individually weak, they attack in massive waves to overwhelm you. |
 Walking corpses are slow,
but are tougher to kill than Ghouls. |
 Zombies are often seen
with Walking Corpses, but are faster. |
 Some Walking Corpses
simply turn into Crawling Torsos after you kill them. |
 Skeleton archers harrass
you with barrages of arrows. They are weak, but often hide behind
Skeleton Shieldman to shoot from safety. |
 Skeleton Shieldman carry
enchanted shields which can block most physical damage. |
 The standard skeleton
monster which attacks with swords and other melee weapons. |
 Skeleton Summoners can
summon new skeletons to fight and attacks with long ranged magic. |
 A bloated creature
crudely sewn together. It is easy to kill, but explodes to
unleash Lampreys. |
 Lampreys are snake-like
creatures released from Grotesques. They are weak but swarm in large
numbers. |
 Ghostly Orbs do not
attack directly, but can summon spirits such as Wraiths. |
 Wraiths are powerful
undead spirits which drain away your life force from a short distance. |
 The Unburied are grotesque monsters sewn together from the rotting corpses of the recently dead. |
