Diablo 3 Gameplay Overview: Diablo 3 Game Mechanics: Damage done to enemies will be displayed as numbers above the location wear the attack took place and then slowly fade away. Some enemies such as Skeleton Shieldmen, can completely block attacks with their enchanted shields. When this happens, the word Block! appears as shown in the screenshot below:  A dialogue window will
now appear showing animated renders of characters when a conversation
begins.
 In
Diablo 3, you may now recruit more than one follower to accompany you
in the fight. Though there's no guarantee they will last long when
things get out of hand.
